Our Story

HEYjoy was launched in January 2026 by founder Grace Wheeler. 

Grace has been speaking since her early twenties and has spent the past decade travelling across the UK communicating the gospel message and equipping others to do the same.

Hey friends,

I’m Grace and I’m so grateful you’re here and taking the time to read our story so far.

HEYjoy was born from a powerful encounter I had with the Lord in my home during the summer of 2024. In that moment, God stirred my heart for the next generation in a way I had never experienced before. As I listened, I sensed His gentle whisper inviting me to step out and launch something new and I simply said yes.

From that yes, HEYjoy came to life. At the heart of everything we do is a deep desire to see the next generation experience deep joy, complete freedom, and have an unshakeable confidence in Jesus. 

I believe that one of the most powerful ways a young person can hear the gospel message is through their friends. That’s why I’m passionate about raising up and encouraging a generation of evangelists who share their faith naturally, boldly, and authentically in their everyday lives. I also want to see a wave of young people who feel called to preach the gospel equipped, encouraged, and released into all God has for them.

We’re only at the beginning of this journey, and we can’t wait to see how this story unfolds. We would absolutely love for you to be a part of it!
